Installing Vems3.3 on a Volvo 244 with a B21ET engine. Taken out the dreadful K-jetronic to get complete control. This car should be competing this year in the Benelux Driftseries.

My name is Jochen aka Brickdrifter and I'm living in Belgium.

New Q: HELP car has a nasty hickup. Please take a look at this log. It's got a dip near the end where dutycycle and rpm drops to 0. Anyone had this before and what could be causing this? I'm using a 36-1 Trigger but only injection is controlled by VEMS.

I tried to open this with MegaLog viewer but it didn't like the file format. Have you edited the file? You may have hit a trigger error there, you should see a trigger error count on MegaTune's status bar, we'll know more if you post the unedited file MembersPage/PhatBob

Have you checked your grounds are well sorted after your p259 problem? If you're getting a loose ground you could easily get a hickup.

Q: The p259 channels do not work anymore, tried all of them with off course the corresponding pin on the connector. I guess I put a +12 current through the channel. What components could be/are destroyed?

//Had similar problem. TPIC6A259 ic was damaged and had to be replaced (it's in the webshop too). Nothing else affected. Check for GND connections, it's always suspicious! //GergelyLezsak

Thanks, ordered the TPIC6A259. Hoping to get it replaced soon.

Replaced and working again. Thanks you http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FGergelyLezsak for the information and Marcell for the fast handling of the order.

Q: can't get the Lambda sensor calibrated in free air. Done the test as in http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FPhatBob%2FUserGuide and all checks out. In Megatune I've got the WBO calibration down to 1 and still I get a reading of 30,95% O2

OK, solved. Got the same reading now as my Innovate LM-1 has. Thanks Rob
