My name is Stein Ove Prestmo (mk1_G on IRC).
I work as an Mechanical Engineer doing 2D and 3D drafts.
My plan is to add GenBoard/VerThree (V3.1) to my project car.
The car is a '83 VW Golf GTI [1] with an 1.8T 20V engine. The car is at the moment under restauration and the engine is rebuilt. The engine is an '97 Audi A4 (Engine code: AEB). The original K03 turbo is changed for a K04-023 with a homemade exhaust manifold.

Is the K03 => K04 stepup significant?
No, The K03 is rated to approx 210-230hp on my engine while the K04 should be able to give me between 260-300hp

My setup will incorporate GenBoard/VerThree V3.1 with
- - 4 Individual Coil On Plugs (dummy ignition)
- - OEM 60-2 wheel on the crank. Pictures: [1] [2]
- - Hall sensor on the camshaft.
- - VAG AIT [1]
- - VAG water temp.
- - VAG throttle body with idle control InTake/ThrottlePlates/VAGElectronicThrottle
- - Two knock sensors (I know the V3.1 firmware don't support 2 sensors yet)
- - Wideband lambda sensor.
