My plan is to run VEMS V3.3 fully integrated on the stock harness. Vems will be attached through a short adapter harness. the only stock sensor that I'm not going to use is the stock HALL.. I will install a 36-1 trigger from Ford, on the crank.

Here is a picture of the powerplant.

Next Question:

I couldn't mount the EDIS wheel on the damper with the tolerance that was needed. thats why i decided to go for stock HEI HALL sensor..
  • where are your measurements so we can help ? The 36-1 pattern
  • voltage at the VR input
  • input open
  • 1k resistor connected towards GND
  • VR sensor connected
  • We use PC/notebook soundcard output (see ElectronicDesign/TriggerSignalGenerator ) to test the setup (HW and firmware and config). It is much easier and faster and less frustrating than cranking the car through hours

So I have decided to go for the Stock HALL trigger in the HEI distributor.

I have a V3.3 genboard, What do i have to change?

So I have to reconfigure My hardware from Primary VR to Primary HALL..

This is what i did.. I hope this i right (if anyone can confirm this i would really appreciate it..

SJ2 changed from open to closed

SJ6 changed from closed to open

R30 2.2k resistor (just took one thats bigger than 2k)

R56 18k keept because R30 is 4k7 or lower.

I still had to remove r56 because this was still lower than 3v. Other than that, looks ok. EricN

To do:

Try to connect genboard to loom and check sensors and hopefully start the car :)
