InputTrigger/TriggerDebug

As for any projects, start by detailing the setup and wiring on project page made from MembersPage/VAG according to MembersPage

We will check that ECU (serialnumber not mentioned, no information, waste of time) has HALL type trigger (or at least sent out with HALL/HALL primary/secondary trigger setup, any later mods we might not know about ).

If ECU has VR type trigger input, problems can be expected with HALL signal connected (will not ruin it, but not reliable either).

Verify the 5V supply.

It can be configuration problem also. vemcfg (and vemslog also a good idea, with notes on the project page about circumstances and what are the associated symptoms).

You might need to use oscilloscope to see the trigger signal.

Ground problems can cause all sorts of problems (trigger problems, damage, etc...). Always the first to check carefully.

GenBoard/Manual/GroundConnections

If you need technical help, always refer to your project page. We will review your project page carefully, so provide details about setup and wiring and configuration and device serialnumbers, measurements, etc...

(project page is optional, but required if tech help is needed).

Refer to RPM signal and "wheel speed" signal. (not "speed signal", that can be either).

I hope that helps,

regards,

Katalin
