Installing Vems3.3 on a Volvo 244 with a B21ET engine. Taken out the dreadful K-jetronic to get complete control. This car should be competing this year in the Benelux Driftseries.

Q: what is fried if one would but +12v on a EC36/15 pin? Just hypothetical speaking. :-(

A: The fuel pump relay pin can handle +12v - the issue is what current went through it?

More info: That I do not know. All I know is that the fuel pump relay isn't being triggered by Vems and all other outputs do not work either.

Maybe the outputs on s259 still work.

A: Didn't we switch off all of the outputs in MegaTune in order to make sure that the injectors all fired? Please check in the Fuel pump/Fan/Water pump settings in MegaTune to check that the channel has been activated

Q: can't get the Lambda sensor calibrated in free air. Done the test as in http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=MembersPage%2FPhatBob%2FUserGuide and all checks out. In Megatune I've got the WBO calibration down to 1 and still I get a reading of 30,95% O2

A: Take a look at your invoice and any of the information sent to you from the webstore you should have been sent the values for the calibration - I'd expect to see numbers around 99-105 (but it will be written in hex e.g. 68 6A etc

More info:

pump-= 4.05V

wbo2_pump_pw_zero=0x63 (99)

wbo2_nernstdc_target=0x89 (137) I believe it is now set to 128.

Could this be significant enought for the calibration?

pump+= -4.7mV/340 Ohm

A: I'd set the pump_pw_zero and target amounts to those you listed above. Then test again, you may be plesantly suprised! Normally small number changes result in large changes in results.
