Plans

Thoughts

As a crank trigger I plan to use the hall that is in the web shop, I plan to make a trigger wheel out of aluminum and press in four magnets with 90 degrees between them, this will then be mounted on the vibration damper. The hall sender will then be placed in an aluminum adjustable holder.

As cam trigger I am still considering whether to mount a magnet in the timing chain gear or modify the distributor.

Questions:

Question:

I se that there is a new batch of GenBoard in production now, v3.2. Check GenBoard/VerThree

Will there be changes on the web shop regarding what you can buy and the quantities? NO

Can I go ahead and order right now? YES

(given that ver 3.2 will have FETs and other components installed)? NO, the sub200 Euro board will only have max 2 DPAK FETs auto-soldered; 18 switches are still TO220, ordered as different item and everyone solders their own except the 450 Euro assembled unit.

If I choose to use lowZ injectors will be able to do that or do I have to modify the board? v3.2 supports PWMing out of the box, 4 FETdrivers (for 8 FETs).

I intend to use PWMing.

8 diodes are already mounted on v3.2, just need to mount 8 diodes or shorts, very easy. Check GenBoard/Manual/DDFlyback again...

Hmm

I have v3.1 so i gues that i have to mount the diodes

(D7, D8, D10, D16, D17, D25, D28, D29 and R19, R20, R37, R38, R61, R62, R93, R94)

and resistors

(R18, R21, R36, R39, R60, R63, R92, R95)

myself, but thank you for the explanation. think i understand now.
