Keeping it simple, and retaining invested components... we'll run banked fuel injection and single channel WB02 only. Aim for the car is simply to improve fueling quality and verify fueling accuracy.

- You mean using 6.8 or 20V SMB flyback ? Mention it when ordering, as since GenBoard/Manual/Config/InjectorOpening is implemented we (by default) send parts for low voltage 0.7V + 0.7V flyback.
- We're using 16 Ohm injectors (or thereabouts). I thought that the injector impedance meant flyback was no longer a consideration?
- note that 2 squirts per injector per cam rotation is harder (even with highZ and high voltage flyback) than 1 squirt per injector per cam rotation with low voltage flyback.
- We'll be using bank fire injection. 4 injectors fired on each ignition event, alternating on each side of the engine (eg, driver A and driver B take turns firing). From meagsquirt.info: Most port injection set-ups before the mid-1990s were bank fire as well (including GM Tuned Port Injection for the 305/350).

- It'll be triggered by the Mallory "dumb" tach adaptor. It's a 2V spike, as documented on the Wiring page linked below.
- Won't quite be plug'n'play due to the lambda sensor. We can run a 4-pin circular connector for this, if Econoseal isn't used. Or maybe a 5-pin if we can't find an unused pin for the MAT sensor...
Alternatively, we can trigger from Mallory Hyfire 6 tach output - 12V 20% duty cycle. The LM1815 datasheet says Min Rext = [(Vin peak)/3mA]. A quick calc says 4K resistor needs to be added to the input, and 10 + 10k is already onboard (designed to cover all 99% of applications). So 1 inline resistor and we're good to go.

When that's all running well, we can think about stepping up to sequential injection, ignition, and even nitrous control - with a proper crank trigger.
