I received and ECU from a working car (no suspected problems with ECU) and the owner wanted help upgrading the firmware before putting the car on my dyno. Several things going on here :
- The firmware upgrade simply aborted
- Even tried megaloader from MegaTune era
- As if it times out
- Can't force the ECU to boot/safe mode by shorting rx/tx
- VT connects normally after a few seconds more than usual
- Serial nr 1715, so old - but not very old.
- Shown full serial nr, will try to update ancient bootloader with main.hex file.
What could be going on?
