This is the page where I try to describe putting the GenBoard into a European Nissan 200SX (called Silvia on some continents) with a CA18DET engine.
The idea is to use as many of the original sensors as I can.
The cableharness will be rebuilt, but I have problems finding the proper connectors. I will have to see which connectors I can reuse from the old harness.
The Nissan CAS and trigger system
[Here] is the latest iteration of the trigger disk. I managed to make an AutoCad [drawing]. Could someone check if it's usuable before my evaluation period ends?
The idea is to have the primary trigger ignite every 15th tooth (60 teeth divided by 4 cylinders). Everything is synced by the 2 missing teeth.
The goal is to have COP with no wasted spark.
The program I've used to create the triggerdiscs is [here]. Check the README file for information on how to use it. I verified the functionality in windows and gentoo. YMMV.
