The engine is a stock M20B23 from 1979 with some upgraded parts from a 1985 L-Jetronic M20 engine.

Engine specification

* In-line 6 cyl engine, 2.3 litres

* High-Z fuel injectors 200 cc/min

* Stock inductive ignition system with single coil and distributor

* Primary trigger is VR/inductive and uses the Motronic 60-2 dampener from more recent Motronic controlled M20 engine with sensor and sensor mount. Possible future upgrade with Hall type cam sync on secondary trigger.
