PanicWB (2005-03-28 09:41:01)

PanicWB is our new displayless standalone WBo2 module, it has RS232 and three different voltage outputs.

If someone want to have a readout directly, they can either: Hook up a DVM /analog voltmeter to an output or use the information avaible on RS232

Question: Can a generic "lambda meter" be used with this?

A led bar or numerical display? I think both can be used with some firmware mods -Johan
Tiny is to be used as a generic lambda meter

Does the fuse need to be onboard? Why not use a miniature fuse holder on the endplate? This would save some precious space, also better for a customers that fries the fuse.. //Emil

The endplates is barely big enough for the connectors, the whole idea is to fit an external fuse, this onboard fuse is a safety precaution for those who forget or are lazy or don't care, etc..
I also vote on not wasting boardspace for fuse. Someone who really wants to blow the board can do so even with the fuse. We can (and should) put fuse into the flying loom harness, so user cannot leave it out.

Name suggestions:

Wideboard fits with Genboard, but VEMS Wideband will mean less confusion by the punters. Wideband, WBO2, UEGO are commonly understood.

(I personally don't like the "board" in the names, we sell a complete product = board, casing, software and function ) -Johan
