Coil On Plug Ignition
I intend to run coil on plug on the 16v engine, as this is one way of saving space, especialy when space is at a premium under the bonnet of a round nose bonnet, lol.
I have sourced some Suzuki GSXR1000 coils from a 2001 bike, they look ideal and fit nicely, I need to find the connectors one way or another, probibly easier to buy a complete loom and rob them from that.
I may run the ignition fully sequential if i can get the cam sync sensor fitted, i dont think that will be much of a problem, but will mean i will have to get the original Mini MPi camshaft machined to remove the lobes.
Failing that i will run them wasted spark.
