Hello!

I assembled my new board into a motronic box with motronic55 connector.

I think this pinout is ok from Econoseal to Motronic55. This harness from S4 AAN.

I tried to connect my ECU to the PC but it didnt want to communicate. The vemstune couldn't find the ECU. Should i use a special settings? Or did i take a mistake?

Where i will start the troubleshooting?

Thanks

Norbi

-Meanwhile i found the problem. My serial port is wrong (it doesn't want to communicate anything, i don't know why) so i bought a rs232->usb converter. With that the ECU can connect to my computer.

-I am not sure that the serial port was wrong. When i tried the usb-serial converter i just connected the ECU and i didnt test it.

The mistake: When i would like to connect the vemstune it's write me " ECU not connected" and the vemstune "lefagy". I'm restart my pc, start the vemstune , connect the usb port, add supply to ECU, press detect-> ECU connected. Ok. I would like to change some settings but the vemstune is "not answer"-lefagy or ECU go offline. When i try again the "ecu not connected", but i am enduring so it is succes to connect for some times. When it was connect i moving the cables and the board if it's contact mistake the ECU should be disconnect but it was staying online.

I thought i taken a mistake so i disassemble the connector from the board. I tried in this way but the failure isn't change.

I checked every splice and line. I tried to solder the dsub9-connector to "EC18:14-15-17 pin and SV2 1-2-3 but nothing.

I am use a prolific serial-usb driver and vemstune latest version.
