Trying to get my Nissan 200sx to get started with VEMS after it went dead.

Motor:

CA18DET

CYLINDER: 4

Head: 16 valve

Trigger: 24/1 CAS

FW: 1.1.50

Map sensor internal: 400Kpa

Connected with Vems loom v3

Vemstune v0.9.88

The problem:

I'm having trouble geting the sensors to work. I have some kind of earthing problem that im trying to fix.

Grounding problem seems likely. Detail your ground connections.

(The grounding is throug the vems v3 harnest. The ground point is at the chassie frame, the connection surface is clean metall with a M8 bolt securingit to place.

I have tested my vems box in a friends car but the same error accured. Removed the P259 circut but didnt help.

The box is answering ("Hello") when using "Terminal v1.9b".

The main problem now is that my sensor don't give a reading.

TPS=100%

CLT= -40

IAT= -40

Map=405Kpa (internal)is it an internal MAP sensor or an external sensor ???

These mean that the microcontroller sees 5V for each. Something in the install is seriously broken. What is the voltage measured on these inputs (with EC36pin26 as base) ?

RPM meter is working.

Ignition is dead.

Have tried bothe the EC36 33 34 35 36 outputs for the ignitions and the Ec18 Stepperoutput but theres no reaction of life.

When you are trying the outputs with bad grounding you risk (further?) damage.

The coils are working when manualy grouning them fast.

The injectors dosn't work.

Theres 12V to the injectors, CAS and ignition.

I mesured the outputs with DVM.

P259ch0=16v

5v+ 4.96

tps supply 4.96

primary trigger 4.3v

sec trigger 4.78v

Loaded the new 1.1.50 fw on to the vems box but didn't help.

I think somethings dead in the box. Don't know what to do.

I have tried FW 1.1.18 and 1.1.44Alpha2 but same error.

The box did work with fw 1.1.18 and 1.1.44Alpha before it stopped reacting when I was driving.
