Porsche 911 Turbo 6 cylinder engine, engine unknown but had the Motronic from the 3.2 engine running before vems install.

The engine is similar to MembersPage/MacB

Firing order, and ignition output wiring

Document this part if you like. It makes it possible for someone to help you with ign output configuration (so it's a good idea).

Firing order: cyl-N and related ign output for all 6 cylinders:

Without the ign wiring someone will assume that you know what you are doing, and you'll be able to set ign outputs.

Note that experienced installers usually use

Trigger setup - needs EXACT description

Flywheel tooth and flywheel pin triggering, flywheel supposedly is 129+1 (so what is the setup actually? And what is TDC position after sectrig pulse ?)

Correct (or confirm) this:

I took a trigger log, but it only shows the primary trigger.

Trigger log: http://www.vems.hu/files/KevinBlack/v3.3_u004215-2011-12-10-17.14.37.triggerlog

The flywheel pin trigger is working (checked with scope for polarity).

'''trigger was set to missing tooth, is now set to coil type and

now I see an RPM signal, and I see "spark" in the trigger log.

ECU#4215 vr/vr trigger(auditrigger non camhall)

Tlywheel Tooth Trigger to EC36-27

Flywheel Pin Trigger to EC18-12

This engine is originally K-Jetronic (CIS), did you convert it to EFI? AFAIK 132+1 is present on 944 Turbo (240 mm clutch) but could be on 930 as well as it has also 240 mm clutch. 129+1 is not likely as it is for 225 mm clutches (911 3.2 Carrera, which has Motronic already).

Here's link to 911 Workshop Manual, years 1984-1989: http://www.cannell.co.uk/911_72-89_Workshop_Manuals/84-89%20Workshop%20Manual.pdf

Maybe there's some info on 911 Turbo as well.(MembersPage/PeepPaadam)

Porsche trigger config proposal:

http://www.vems.hu/files/KevinBlack/porsche_911.vemscfg

I tried a new set-up (.vemslog or .config?)

The problem is, we discovered that the order is different each time we crank the engine.

Example: Checking Spark at #1 with a strobe light, first try we see the TDC mark, next try we see the 240 degree mark, next try maybe 120 mark.

The car actually ran for a while, I think it is just luck that it happened to fire correctly on that attempt.

This set-up makes a clean triggerlog with 6 triggers and 6 spark events.

vemslog (or vemscfg) and triggerlogs will be posted later tonight. Thanks.
