VEMS Turbolamik automatic gearbox support
Order [CAN_Dash] with Turbolamik.eu option:
Message format
- Base ID Configurable (Default 0x0600)
Byte Data Data resolution /unit conversion
- 0:1 RPM Unsigned msb:lsb (Rpm) 1 RPM/bit
- 2:3 MAP Unsigned msb:lsb (Kpa) 1 kPa/bit
- 4 TPS(PPS) Unsigned byte (%) 0.5%/bit
- 5 DBW Unsigned byte (%) 0.5%/bit
- 6:7 Engine torque Signed msb:lsb (NM) 1NM/bit
NOTE:
- DBW can be same as TPS ... 0 .. 200 (0..100%)
- TPS internally in VEMS has better resolution, but converted to 0..200 for tubolamik.eu automatic gearbox.
Maximum torque for BMW naturally aspirated (NA) 2.0-liter engines typically ranges between 185 Nm and 210 Nm
- That is appr. MAP * 2 (200 Nm at 100 kPa)
- Although much lower torque at 40 kPa, and can be negative below 34 kPa
