Unit: 20375 and 13331 M50 AND M52 PnP unitS.
The 52 one has strange faults, one or more grounds are missing
We never got either of these units to work properly, and frankly, I don't want them.
More than half of the 88pin PnPs have had some form of problems. Wrong basetune, burning up coils, faulty wiring, damaged units, No com etc. I understand that some mistakes are human nature, but these have been a nightmare.
I want economic compensation for these units. The price I payed, plus shipping and handling of 100Euro per unit.
I will not be ordering any of these BMW PnP units again. I actually suggest you discontinue them. Very sorry to say, because this could have been so good. But the amount of failures is staggering.
I have personally resoldered and repaired burnt traces on at least 10 of these PnP units, if not more, so I think I'm being quite fair with my request.

Bluetooth unit VEMS-F8F7, worked for a few days then the 5 Volt adapter started to send out 12 Volt and fried the Adapter.

3x USB adaptors that have been damages due to units with broken RS232 chip. Full refund on these demanded. DO NOT test them on VEMS unit, they may kill the RS232 chip on working units. One of my units was damaged this way.

M50 PnP unit, worked for 1 hour, then just died. Some form of bootloader/firmware issue on reboot.

Unit nr 4:
Serial nr 13031 M60 PnP unit sent out in 2017 (when M60 was experimental).
All outputs work when in testmode, all fires individually. But when enginge is started 2 cylinder do not run correct (logs and config must be investigated in such case, with logs, config, install details on separate, editable, thematically organized page - necessary for installs and especially required in case of problems ). Dead on idle. then runs in on mid load, then dead again on full load.
I made a "Patch harness" for this car, and used a stock VEMS 3.8 unit and it has run perfectly after that.
Even installed this defektive unit again, and the problem returned.
I want full refund for this unit, and 200 euro for the time spent looking for this problem. Spent 10 hours looking for a mechanical fault :(

I belive this unit was sent for repair prevously. And when I recived it back it was still no com.

Unit 10,11,12:
Serial nr : 17562, 17797, 17570. (They do have very close serialnumbers.)
All 3 units share the same problem. Broken MAX232 RS232 communication chip. When connected to USB the units start to draw exessive Amp. Like 0.6 Amp. instead of normal 0.15 Amp.
- Unfortunate batch made with fake MAX232 that tended to develop serious problems in days or weeks also depending on the RS232 port voltages used with it - yes, nonsense that they fake-manufacture such chips with bogus design, luckily only a small batch was effected and extremely annoying but fixable and not effecting any later batches. Most of the problems seem to be related to the ill-fate 2017 fake MAX232 batch. (which cannot repeat, of course).
Unit 17797 was used only with regular COM port, and stopped communicating in the middle of the tuning session.
I will send the USB adapters also, the first one was used on the first unit, the other one on one of the others. But both adapters seem to be dead and I tried it on another broken unit, and they seem to have killed that unit as well. Unit 727.

Unit 13:
Serial nr 14236 (econoseal v3 purchased in 2017).
Was installed with my custom PnP patch harness for BMW M60.
Was tuned successfully and ran for 3 days, then just died and stopped communicating (small batch made with fake MAX232, see above.)
This was actually in a friends car and I was next to it when it just died on idle in the depo next to the track.
We put a new unit in the car the same day, and it ran perfectly the rest of the summer last year.
Fix it, replace the SD card (I will pay for the card) and send it back.

RS232 serial communications
Please note that devices with dual WBO2 (and old devices) have NFET on EC18/pin17 (2nd WBO2 heater), not GND as most new devices.
- That means RS232 connection with GND only on EC18/17 (RS232 GND not connected to EC36/26) will fail to communicate, or worse: sometimes communicate, but unreliably. (eg. communicate with engine off, but frequent comm disconnects with engine running).

Damaged LM1815. Unknown reason. Also some unsure funktion of some parts. Test everything.
Please change it, or change is to Hall if not possible without board replacement.

Brand new unit. Burnt Stepper chip due to short in solenoid.
No communication after the chip fried.
Main board replacement authorized.
Unit Number: 8168. Belings to Engdahl
Injector channel/channels grounds on powerup.
Suspected INJ driver chip damage?
Test it and fix whatever is broken.
Main board replacement authorized.

Communication problems. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

CPU failure.
Tested this on my bench, Very strange problems, then I even burnt myself on the CPU. Efter firmware update it died. No comms.

- seems to communicate without problem (no CRC error). Check the bench RS232 cable connection, especially RS232 GND to EC36/26 connectivity

Really old, lost of problems. I think It died on the testbench.

Also add LCD. and Change the front to one without holes.
