I have the VEMS ignition, fuel pump and coolant fan setup with 9 fuses. fuel pump relay ground is connected to EC36/17 (injector channel) and Coolant fan at EC36/6 (injector channel).

None of these relays actuate in test mode.

I did check that the actual injectors worked, and they did. I used the other outputs dialog to test fuel pump and coolant fan, where I assigned the channels and had a test button?

The ini files and firmware are up to date, i can post the versions later.

VemsTune 1.5.57 - FW 1.2.38 - "no new ini files found" when updating from the web. Still havent found the issue here.

Re-checked that Pin 6/17 is connected to relays ground pin, but does not actuate relays. Suggestions to other more suited channels?

I gave up on the injector outputs that didn't wok for some reason and connected the relays to Stepper C and D. Inverted offcourse. This works fine, question is why the injector channels didn't work? * Maybe the drivers arent mounted as it was set up for 4 cylinders?

  • No. Always 8 injector drivers are mounted, regardless of the number of ignition IGBT-s
  • Plus 1 or 2 LSU4 heater FETs (depending on single wideband, or dual wideband).
  • Perhaps the outputs are damaged. Most often the damaged FET (or IGBT) outputs are short circuit to GND. But if the injector FETdriver is damaged (that is uncommon, but not impossible), it might be that some injectors are not activated for some reason.
  • misconfiguration happens more often. The injgroups can be setup to activate more than 1 (any injector outputs, up to all 8), or no injector output at all. "Diagonal" injgroup table is recommended for hardware tests (misunderstanding is less likely that way)

This was the order, v3 serial number is 10418. https://photos.app.goo.gl/WZB3iErdmVmpauTG6
