Under this Post I will post a list of Units that will be sent in for repairs. Please do complete functionality test on all units.

I have 11 units in need of repair or return.
Unit nr 1:
Serial nr 6858.
Multiple high current damage, Caused by burnt coil - damage mainboard
No comm. Mainbord replacement.
VR/Hall 2+6Logic. "2JZ VAG coils, Custom harness"
Also add one Missing FET clamp.

Unit nr 2:
Serial nr 9540
Damaged P259 chip and Damaged Stepper chip.
Also possible other damage.
VR/Hall 8+0 IGN. "Bmw M50 stock coils, Twinshield"
Fix whatever is needed.

Unit nr 3:
Serial nr 9332
M50 PnP unit, worked for 1 hour, then just died. Some form of bootloader/firmware issue on reboot.
I want full refund on this one.
Will send it WITH external MAP sensor.

Unit nr 4:
Serial nr 13031
M60 PnP unit. It Works, but 2 cylinders missfires. Some form manufacture defekt of problem with injector output or IGN output.
I am almost sertain the problem is injector.
All outputs work when in testmode, all fires individually. But when enginge is started 2 cylinder do not run correct.
I made a "Patch harness" for this car, and used a stock VEMS 3.8 unit and it has run perfectly after that.
Even installed this defektive unit again, and the problem returned.
I want full refund for this, and 200 euro for the time spent looking for this problem. Spent 10 hours looking for a mechanical fault :(

RS232 serial communications
Please note that devices with dual WBO2 (and old devices) have NFET on EC18/pin17 (2nd WBO2 heater), not GND as most new devices.
- That means RS232 connection with GND only on EC18/17 (RS232 GND not connected to EC36/26) will fail to communicate, or worse: sometimes communicate, but unreliably. (eg. communicate with engine off, but frequent comm disconnects with engine running).
Unit number: 4130 belongs to Engdahl/RBD
Damaged LM1815. Unknown reason. Also some unsure funktion of some parts. Test everything.
Please change it, or change is to Hall if not possible without board replacement.
Unit number 11658. Belongs to Engdahl
Brand new unit. Burnt Stepper chip due to short in solenoid.
No communication after the chip fried.
Main board replacement authorized.
Unit Number: 8168. Belings to Engdahl
Injector channel/channels grounds on powerup.
Suspected INJ driver chip damage?
Test it and fix whatever is broken.
Main board replacement authorized.
Unit Number: 2365. Belings to Engdahl/RBD
Communication problems. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Bootloader corrupt?
If uncertain, change of main board is authorized.
Unit Number: 4706, Unit Belong to Engdahl
CPU failure.
Tested this on my bench, Very strange problems, then I even burnt myself on the CPU. Efter firmware update it died. No comms.
Main board replacement authorized.
Unit Number: 1959 belongs to Engdahl/RBD
- No communication.
- seems to communicate without problem (no CRC error). Check the bench RS232 cable connection, especially RS232 GND to EC36/26 connectivity
- doing bootloader upgrade and more tests
Main board replacement authorized.
Unit Number: 533 belongs to Engdahl
Really old, lost of problems. I think It died on the testbench.
Change main board and replace any missing/broken parts.
Also add LCD. and Change the front to one without holes.
