ALS not working.
ALS works! I poured it it 1.0.69 firmware and the hell got away immediately...

Turned out that this was a funny situation:
the ALS throttle kicker and made a self-inducing prelling loop.
- When the ALS throttle kicker was activated
- the TPS increased => ALS turned off => throttle kicker off => .... ;-)
Higher TPS limits eliminated the throttle kicker loops.
But this turbo might be too fragile for ALS anyway.
