Audi P'n'P and automatic transmission
Is there a known issue with automatic transmissions ?
When I engage forward gears (D,1,2,3) the engine stops suddenly. As if you dump the clutch on a manual car, with the engine at idle and brakes fully engaged. Reverse gear is not an issue, it is however very difficult to only drive in reverse gear...

The engine and car is completely stock and the config was copied from another stock late S6 that I tuned. This engine starts up and works as it should.
There is a DEFA alarm system wired in the car. Could it have an dependancy on the original ECU? Could it control the lockup function of the automatic gearbox?
If it's any help I disconnected the battery for a week before I did the VEMS install. The car was driven to me and worked just fine when it arrived.
I will reverse the installation tomorrow, but would appreciate any clues.
