== Problem with Megatunix crashing ==

I got firmware loaded and megatunix installed but as the program starts and begins to load the different tabs for tuning the progran crashes. the windows technical information gives the filename e453_appcompat.txt as being the problem. I don't know what this means, can anyone help?

Changed:
the writeup (no longer) posted on phattransmissions mislabeled the serial connections. After following the CORRECT instructions, we connect fine.
It has taken a while but I FINALLY have the motor back from the machine shop. What they did:

*Bored to 83mm

*Bushed rods for new Forged JE Pistons

*Full crank/rod Balance

*Valve Job

== Update 27 May 2005 -- Genboard not connecting ==
It's taken so long to get this far, Now I want a v3.3!

also, i've started a blog for the project.

http://thirty20motoring.blogspot.com/

I'll keep a full record there. I'll be posting the genboard related stuff here.

I can't get my brand new, assembled ver3.2 to connect to my PC. I can however get my old ver3.1 to connect fine. Any suggestions?

* check this: GenBoard/BuildProcedures/SerialPort

* if still no success

** write the connections you try: every relateds pin, grounds too (exactly like EC18pin14 connected to ...)

** write the TerminalProgram settings you try

** write board serial number and any special instructions you received with the board

** your measurements on the assumed TX/RX pins
