We received a device S50B32/v3/13410 repair BMW S50B32 output mystery OID 17028 with reported ign cyl5 problem.

Finding that outputs were good (also tested with load), it was a bit puzzling for quite some time.

Since the HW actuates all outputs (not having changed anything), the only possibility we can speculate that the home-swapped cyl 5 ignch6 IGBT legs (bent incorrectly when repaired at home) contacted the clamping plate, causing problem.. This could even damage an ignition coil if not sufficiently protected by fuse.

However, this does not explain IAC output issue, since IAC output atuates properly.
