There will be additional things controlled by the Genboard, not available on the stock engine: * Electric fan * Idle air solenoid * Sequential fuel injection '''Trigger setup''' On the stock engine - the ignition is not controlled by the ECU (L-Jetronic), it's done by a mechanism in the distributor.
